Biography

My research investigates the molecular aspects of G protein-coupled receptor pharmacology. Specifically, the ability of cell-type-specific factors to modulate signaling of chemokine receptors, an important class of membrane proteins found thought the body. By using CRISPR/Cas9 genome-editing I have developed cutting-edge bioluminescence techniques to investigate endogenous protein-protein and ligand-receptor interactions as well as receptor signaling.
