Personal profile
Biography
I am a PhD candidate with an interest in the evolution of the carnivorous marsupial family Dasyuridae. My research will help to identify cryptic dasyurid species across Australia and understand how the aridification of Australia over tha last 15 million years ahs contributed to the genetic and morphological diversity present within this group. My work has a particular focus on the kultarr (Antechinomys laniger), an arid-zone dasyurid present across much of the arid zone which exhibts considerable diversity across its distribution.
