Biography

Brett is a GP who divides his career between clinical practice and academic work. He began working at UWA as an academic GP registrar in 2004, and has worked in the medical school continuously since 2009. He currently coordinates the General Practice teaching for 3rd year medical students in the MD course. His Master of Medical Science thesis explored statin prescribing in Australia and Ireland. His areas of special interest include cardiovascular disease prevention, asthma and prostate cancer screening.
