Biography

Snapshot:

Bev Partridge has a decade of experience at The University of Western Australia. Bev currently represents UWA’s Business School and the wider university both locally and internationally.
In Bev’s current roles (Manager (International Development, Business School), and Senior Manager (UWA Offshore Operations)) she is responsible for creating and implementing marketing and communications plans for the international sector. Her portfolio of responsibilities ranges from international recruitment, managing existing and developing new exchange agreements, identifying new business opportunities for the university, developing brochures; managing international off shore UWA staff; building strong working relationships with international partner institutions and key stakeholders. Bev manages a team of 8 staff who are located across the globe; UK, South America, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Vietnam and India.
In previous roles at the Graduate School of Management, Bev worked as the alumni relations co-ordinator and as the program co-ordinator for the MBA. These roles gave Bev the opportunity to develop a wide knowledge base and a deep understanding of a range of different roles, and with this experience and knowledge she has been able to contribute to improving the student experience and form lifelong relationships with alumni.
In 2013, Bev completed the Leadership for Women Program at UWA, and in recent years the Advanced Management Program through AIM-UWA Business School Alliance. Additionally, she has completed an Organisational Strategy and Marketing course and has been a mentor to many of her colleagues.
Bev was also a member in a team that was awarded a national service prize for outstanding contribution to the student experience and has recently been nominated for an individual service award for Contributions to Student Learning at UWA (winner will be announced in April 2016)
