Biography

Ben Williams is a coastal and ocean engineer with more than 20 years of global project experience spanning academia and industry.

Ben has a wide range of experience in measurement and numerical modelling, hydrodynamics, waves, sediment/particle transport, and infragravity processes for coastal vulnerability, structure design, renewable energy, and the operability of port and terminal developments.

He is a Discipline Expert for the Engineers Australia accreditation panel, and an active member of the Engineers Australia Maritime Engineering Working Group, contributing to the development and advocacy of engineering standards and practices.
