Biography

Ben is a quantum physicist, and currently the quantum computing Discipline Leader at the Defence Science and Technology Group, an adjunct Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Western Australia and member of the QUISA group. His background is in quantum computation and quantum information science. After many years supporting the Australian Submarine Fleet, Ben now uses his extensive experience in collaborating with academic and defence industry partners, as well as his in-depth knowledge of quantum computation, to enable the Australian Defence Force to take full advantage of the second quantum revolution.
