Biography

An experienced and versatile research assistant, Avalon Gray holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Neuroscience from the University of Western Australia. With a strong foundation in both human and animal research, Avalon has contributed to studies spanning reproductive biology, cardiovascular physiology, auditory neuroscience, and cognitive ageing.

She is skilled in a wide range of lab techniques, including histology, animal behavioral testing, and transcranial magnetic stimulation, and has worked across multiple institutions such as the University of Western Australia, Murdoch University, and the Harry Perkins Institute.

Currently based in the Pregnancy Exposures Group at UWA, she coordinates experiments, manages data workflows, and liaises with collaborators to ensure seamless research operations.

Avalon Gray serves as a GreenLab Ambassador, supporting the lab’s sustainability journey by coordinating actions toward LEAF and GreenDiSC accreditation and fostering environmentally responsible research practices.
