Biography

Dr Aron Chakera is a Renal Physician with an interest in immune function and host-pathogen interactions. He is head of the Translational Renal Research Group, based in the Harry Perkins Insitute of Medical Research. He has received over $21M in research funding, authored over 90 articles and is the lead researcher on a number of sponsored and investigator-led clinical trials. His research interests span discovery science through clinical implementation and epidemiology.
