Biography

Anthony is a researcher, teacher and practitioner at the Australian Urban Design Research Centre (AUDRC) covering the fields of Architecture and Urban Planning and Design. He has qualifications in in both Architecture and Civil Engineering from the University of Western Australia. He has worked for 10 years in the fields of Architecture and Urban Design and prior to this was employed as a transport planning and design engineer for 10 years in the public and private sector of Western Australia and internationally. His current research focus, extending from his PhD is related to the urban intensification of cities. Anthony's engineering experience and knowledge combined with an aptitude for architectural research and design places him in a unique position to build the capability and applicability of urban design practice, research and education.

Future research

Innovative tools for Community Engagement, Communication & Collaborative Design: The objective of this research project is to develop and refine innovative tools for professional and community engagement to assist with the communication and education of key sptial design policy initiatives to a variety of stakeholders in particular those with potentially limited spatial and/or design knowledge.
