Roles and responsibilities
Anna Gee works in the Office of Industry and Commercial Development and played a central role in the design and establishment of UWA Consult as the one-stop-shop for university consulting.
Anna engages with internal stakeholders across professional and academic areas at UWA and provides advice and guidance to staff undertaking university consulting. Anna can provide advice on how to establish a university consulting contract, aspects of contract negotiation and structure, pricing and commercial considerations when undertaking consulting activity.
As Industry Engagement Manager, Anna facilitates connections, synergies and partnerships between academia and industry. Anna has a client-centric approach, and is skilled at managing the interests and expectations of university stakeholders with community and industry. She is passionate about developing long-term relationships which support the university research impact agenda and grow new sources of revenue.
Biography
Anna’s education and professional skills include marketing, human resources management, design thinking for innovation, communications and stakeholder management expertise. Her experience spans the WA pharmaceutical and medtech start up industry including spin off and ASX-listed companies, health and medical training and higher education sectors.
