Biography

Angela Gazey is a Research Officer and PhD Candidate at the School of Population and Global Health at UWA. Angela is committed to research that promotes social justice and reduces health disparities. Her research has real world relevance and has focused on improving services for people experiencing homelessness and family and domestic violence. She also has an interest in tobaco control and the disproportionate impact of tobacco on people living in low socio-economic areas.

Her PhD research examines parents' understanding of the impacts of trauma and adversity on children with a view to improving trauma-informed practice in schools.
