Biography
Andrew is the Director of Alda Consultants which specialises in Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) for buildings. He was previously the Global Director of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) for Ramboll, a global international Architecture and Engineering firm. He provides specialist independent technical expertise is in design for offsite manufacturing and assembly of buildings. He is a sought after speaker at international offsite construction conferences and consults on overseas projects in Australia ,Maldives, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, UAE, KSA.
Andrew resides in Perth, Western Australia. Andrew was previously an owner of Woods Bagot, an international Architectural firm. He was educated at Wesley College and is a Registered Architect in Western Australia. Andrew obtained his MBA and B Arch (with First Class Honours) from University of Western Australia.
Andrew has been an Adjunct Associate Professor at University of Western Australia since 2017 where he is involved with the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program for final year students at the School of Design. He provides specialist independent technical expertise is in design for offsite manufacturing and assembly of buildings. He is a sought after speaker at international offsite construction conferences and consults on overseas projects in Australia, Maldives, Singapore, Malaysia , Hong Kong , UAE and Saudi Arabia.
