Personal profile

Andrew Knox is registered as a podiatric surgeon with AHPRA and provides specialist advice and surgery for foot and ankle conditions in Perth and Brisbane. He specialises in performing minimally invasive 'keyhole' procedures which can be used to address common problems including bunions, flat feet, heel spurs and hammertoes and offer patients less downtime in comparison with traditional methods.

Andrew completed a bachelor's degree in podiatric medicine at the University of WA in 2010 and was then accepted into post-graduate specialty training, completing a doctorate of clinical podiatry in 2014. He is a Fellow of the Australian Association of Podiatric Surgeons and has held the position of President of the Association since 2016.

Andrew is viewed by colleagues as an industry leader in the development of minimally invasive foot surgery locally, after becoming the first podiatric surgeon to introduce minimally invasive foot surgery techniques to Western Australia after completing training at the Academy of Ambulatory Foot and Ankle Surgery in the United States.
