Andre is a marketing lecturer in the UWA Business School at the University of Western Australia. He joined the Business School in February 2024. Prior to joining UWA, he worked at the Ivey Business School at Western University, Canada, as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from National Dong Hwa University, fully funded under the PhD studentship scheme. Before doing his PhD, he was previously an account manager at one of the biggest IT solution companies in Indonesia, i.e., MII - Metrodata Group.

Andre's research interests include digital technology, service marketing, consumer-brand relationships, consumer psychology, and consumer behavior. He is interested in understanding how technology plays a role in influencing human (consumer) life and behavior. Specifically, he is interested in how to better utilize digital technologies for business/marketing purposes, such as understanding possible strategies that companies can implement through the use of digital technologies to influence consumer behaviors. He is also interested in understanding the role of digital technology in influencing social goals, e.g., good health and well-being.

Andre's work has been published in various journals such as Psychology and Marketing, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, International Journal of Consumer Studies, Internet Research, International Journal of Information Management, Computers in Human Behavior, and Electronic Commerce Research and Applications.
