Roles and responsibilities

Ami is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Social Impact at UWA. Prior to that, she was a research officer at CSI UWA. Ami’s research at CSI UWA has focused on outcomes measurement, involving both the investigation of outcomes measurement practice in the community sector through the Bankwest Foundation Supporting Growth and Development in the Community Sector program, as well as undertaking the measurement of social and economic outcomes in regional and remote areas. Ami has also been an author on flagship CSI UWA reports, including the Overcoming Indigenous Disadvantage Across the Regions report and The State of Homelessness in Australia’s Cities report. Ami holds a PhD and a B.Com(Hons) in Human Resource Management from The University of Western Australia.


Ami's Ph.D research examined how and why employees engage in corporate social responsibility. Currently, at the CSI, Ami is involved in research pertaining to outcomes measurement in the community sector, expenditure and social outcomes in regional Western Australia, and the effectiveness of interventions to address homelessness.
