Biography

I am a registered pharmacist with a strong background in simulation.

I specialise in simulation based learning to prepare future pharmacists for complex clinical challenges. My work aims to inspire excellence in pharmacy education with a strong commitment to hands-on learning to equip students with the skills needed to provide patient centred care in the healthcare enviroment.

Roles and responsibilities

Lead tutor for simulated learning across all Pharmacy Practice units

Clinical skill development in simulation and experiential learning

Unit coordinator - Pharmacy Placement 1, focus on rural workforce

Research interests

The practice of simulation in pharmacy education

Influence of rural experiential placements on pharmacy students’ career choices, with a focus on improving recruitment and retention of pharmacists in rural areas.
