Personal profile

Biography

I am a PhD researcher currently working in the fields of feminist appetite phenomenology and food erotics. My research focuses on women’s affectual, sensual and embodied experiences of food, appetite and love with a transdisciplinary lens. This research in based on my disciplinary history within the arts and humanities: with a Bachelor of Arts in Gender Studies and English Literary studies disciplines and a First-Class Honours degree in Gender Studies.

My work aims to imagine a transformative practice of eating and loving which has the potential to reframe feminine appetite and its emotional and embodied assemblages as abundant, self-nourishing, sensual and rooted in feminist praxis.
