Biography

Alana is a public health researcher with expertise in child and adolescent health, health promotion, qualitative methodology, research impact and knowledge translation. She has a range of experience across research projects focused on child and adolescent health including the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ young people, body image, bullying prevention, physical activity, technology use, and online behaviours in school and community settings. Her work has also included developing frameworks for research impact, knowledge translation and community involvement in research.
