Dr Aaron Chin is a Lecturer in the School of Human Sciences at UWA. His research areas span across biomechanics in sport, clinical and rehabilitation fields. After completing is PhD at UWA, Aaron immersed himself in industry and has over a decade of experience in the biomechanics and engineering fields working with Olympic athletes and populations with chronic conditions.
Aaron completed further study with a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Exercise Physiology, enabling him to practise as an Accredited Clinical Exercise Physiologist. Being involved in both private clinical practice and University education allows him to provide a balance of theoretical, practical and applied experience to his teaching and research approaches.
Aaron was the recipient of an Early Career Individual Teaching Excellence Award in 2023 from the School of Human Sciences.
