Dr Susan Lee is an Adjunct Research Fellow with the UWA School of Population and Global Health, Division of Population and Public Health working with the Equity and Oral Health Research Group headed by Professor Linda Slack-Smith.
Dr Lee has worked for over 30 years in health promotion and public health with diverse groups of women including migrants and refugees, Aboriginal women, women experiencing mental health and/ or alcohol and other drug issues and women experiencing family and domestic violence.
Dr Lee has also worked extensively with service providers to build their capacity to work more effectively with these diverse groups.
Her research work has been primarily related to her employment in various health and community services in Western Australia. In her various work roles she has conducted literature reviews, needs assessments, and evaluations of projects and service delivery. She has also helped organisations to translate the findings of new research, needs assessments and evaluations into changes in their policies and service delivery including designing and implementing new programs.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
