Description of impact
Funded by the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade via the Australian Awards Fellowship Program, the Australia Indonesia Centre (AIC) ran a short course to train Indonesian Transport Fellows to use evidence from research in policy making. The participants were from the National, Sulawesi, Provincial and regency governments as well as NGO community groups. The course was a two-week program in Melbourne, utilising Partnership for Australia-Indonesia Research (PAIR). Associate Professor Martinus was part of this program and delivered a presentation on socio-economic impact and outcomes for communities along the Trans-Sulawesi Railway.Impact date | 31 Oct 2023 |
