I contributed to the FBI-CRC since November 2017 when the first discussions were initiated by CRC-Ore, METS Ignite, and several universities around a CRC-Mining consultation session in Melbourne. I was a member of the steering committee that shaped up the first stage application. Upon approval of the project, I was appointed a Theme Leader of "Cost-competitive Resources Processing of Battery Minerals". I am currently a Principal Investigator in a number of research projects about the management of battery wastes and the processing of battery minerals.
