Functional Dialogues with WA and Federal Health Departments

Description of impact

Functional Dialogues are in-depth group discussions between the Coronavax research team and stakeholders within and connected to government. They are a forum to explore, translate, and act upon emerging insights and stakeholder feedback. Functional Dialogues provide a novel method for the translation of research findings about community needs in real-time, whilst simultaneously gathering new data on governance constraints and enablers. Drawing in new information, the research team, in dialogue with stakeholders, iteratively updates research questions and priorities based on need whilst disseminating what is known. Our presentations of research findings to relevant policy and program actors mean that Government is able to act upon and utilise them in real time to drive policy during the rollout.
