Rearing duration influences survival rate in the Post-Larval Capture, Culture and Release of a Coral Reef Fish

This dataset contains the full raw data and analysis scripts for the study investigating how short-term captivity duration and release timing influence early post-settlement survival, growth, and behaviour of Pomacentrus amboinensis in a Post-larval Capture, Culture, and Release (PCCR) framework. The files include survival monitoring data, interval-censored mortality records, behavioural observations, and growth measurements collected during controlled rearing and field-release experiments. All statistical analyses used in the manuscript—Kaplan–Meier survival curves, Cox and Weibull survival models, model comparison sequences, beta-regression behaviour analyses, and growth comparisons—are reproducible using the provided R scripts.
