Predicting the occurrence of riparian woody species to inform environmental water policies in an Australian tropical river

This project is supported through funding from the Australian Government’s National Environmental Science Program through the Northern Australia Environmental Resources Hub. We gratefully acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the country on which this work was undertaken; the Nyikina-Mangala people of the Walalakoo region, Yanunijarra and Gooniyandi people, and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging. Thanks to the Indigenous Rangers that assisted us with field work, and to the pastoral managers of Quanbun Downs, Myroodah, Mount Anderson, Millijidee and Gogo Stations for their cooperation. Thank you to numerous staff at the University of Western Australia and the Government of Western Australia for advice and assistance.
