PLAWA Community Facility Guidelines 2020 Mapping Portal for Perth and Peel

Dataset

Description

The mapping presented in this portal represents the information collected and assessed for the 2020 phase of the PLAWA Community Facility Guidelines project. Data collected from 32 Perth and Peel region local governments from 2014 included 59 public open space, sport and recreation facility types available to the public. This mapping portal shows interpretation for 29 of those facilities for public open space, outdoor sports and sports centres. The current mapping and suite of informing documents support initial modelling for community facility provision.

The mapping portal has been developed by Dr Paula Hooper at the Australian Urban Design Research Centre (The University of Western Australia) for the Western Australian chapter of Parks and Leisure Australia.
