Description
A laboratory experiment was conducted in combination with high-resolution wave modelling using the SWASH model to study wave-driven mean flow dynamics in submerged canopies. The experiments were conducted in a 35-m-long, 1.2-m-wide and 1.2-m-deep wave flume and included 6 different wave conditions with a constant high-density 0.3-m-tall canopy in a constant water depth of 0.75 m.
The dataset covers both the experimental data as the model input files for the simulations. More information can be found in the accompanied metadata document, as well as the following publication: https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1029/2019JC015935.
