Description

The unit focuses on contemporary methods used to examine key biological and ecological questions in these systems. Particular focus is placed on preparing students to be able to work safely in the field, through appropriate planning, risk management, understanding occupational, health and safety issues and responsibilities, and the development of the practical skills required for marine field projects. The unit is primarily focused on a compulsory 5 day field trip to Albany on the south coast of Western Australia.
