Students are able to (1) demonstrate how economic concepts can be applied to understand the complex issues associated with international trade; (2) identify the role of exports and imports, and have a deep understanding of market interactions and effects of price shocks; (3) critically examine media reporting on issues relating to international trade; and (4) explain how models can help understand complex economic relations.
