New research has found that almost a million Australians are taking five or more medicines daily. Data shows that in 2017 36%

of Australians aged 70 are using multiple medications at the same time which experts says can lead to adverse health outcomes. According to UWA lead researcher Amy Page, there was a slight difference in numbers between genders.
