UWA art history lecturer Dr Arvi Wattell and Professor Alistair Paterson shared the history of a silver water jug which was destined for sale in India, but was shipwrecked on the Abrolhos Islands onboard the Batavia. It's part of a collection of Dutch East India Company objects at the WA Shipwrecks Museum which is being re-examined by experts to help tell new stories of globalisation.
