Description
Research Bytes series - An Archaeology of graffiti and homelessness
Archaeology is a powerful way to understand how people today use the world around them to shape their lives. It also gives voice to the people we sometimes choose not to hear – homeless/houseless people, and those who make graffiti. This research throws some light on these urgent and contested issues of modern-day life. Two case studies from Perth show how a contemporary Archaeology contributes to understanding issues that are not conveniently going to go away.
