Part 3 of Engineers Australia’s Suburban Engineering Series – Engineers: Leading the Charge for a Sustainable Future was delivered as a webinar showcasing practical responses to plastic pollution. The session highlighted leadership and proactive measures by government, engineers and organisations, including circular economy approaches, innovative uses of soft plastics and the development of international standards. It also emphasised cross‑sector collaboration and knowledge sharing to drive effective action and support ongoing innovation in addressing plastic pollution.
