My first visit to Ningxia University, Yinchuan. Presented a public lecture “Phenotyping Root Architecture and Rhizosphere Interactions for Improved Adaptation to Environmental Stress”. Invited by Vice President Prof Xuebin Li. Over 100 teachers, researchers, and postgraduate students from several schools (Agronomy, Forestry and Grassland, Biological Science, Ecology and Engineer) attended. https://www.nxu.edu.cn/info/1172/30127.htm; https://nxy.nxu.edu.cn/info/1082/9371.htmMet UWA past visiting professor Guosheng Xin and his familiy. Had discussions with chief officers of several departments of Ningxia University, covering education, undergraduate, postgraduate, research, international affairs, and heads of several schools such as Agronomy, Forestry and Grassland, Biological Science, Ecology and Engineer. Discussed on potential joint training and postgraduate educations, and potential joint project working on agriculture and land rehabilitation.
