Molecules, Models, and Morsels: Engaging Indigenous Youth in the Wonders of Science

Description

The initiative serves as a bridge between educators and Indigenous communities, promoting inclusivity in STEM education. Participants build ball-and-stick models of ester molecules, which are known for their pleasant odours and flavours. This tactile experience is paired with a gustatory one, as the students taste jellybeans corresponding to the flavours of the molecules they have constructed.
