Activity: Service and engagement › Public outreach/ public event
Description
As part of National Science Week 2025, the Max Planck Society Qld Centre was delighted to host an inaugural event, welcoming students, families, and community members to learn more about the exciting research being carried out across our Centre. The event and program was expertly designed and curated by our speaker and MC Dr. Charlotte Birkmanis who kept the day flowing with energy and enthusiasm.
The event began with inspiring talks from three high school students who shared why they are passionate about science and highlighted the importance of supporting the next generation of researchers. We then heard from three PhD candidates, who each shared a glimpse into their research.
