Description
Value is created because of multiple interactions between different stakeholders. The successful commercialisation of new products requires understanding the needs of customers, suppliers, and other firms with complementary technologies, and how they perceive the value being offered by the innovation. Collaboration and communication between the firm commercialising the product and these stakeholders provides for the co-creation of value. This event opened with a summary of the latest research into how value is co-created by firms with their customers. A following panel discussion comprising experienced innovators Dr Kath Giles, Julian Kruger and Ex Chandra, explored their own personal experience of co-creating value with key stakeholders in order to commercialise new products.
