Description
The objective of our involvement is to prepare a customised Co-Design activity to allow the rapid prototyping and demonstration of schematic designs for low-scale medium density developments, encouraging involvement of a range of professionals from within Development WA with the aim of greater affordability. For this project it would be intended to develop a standard scaled interactive model and interactive dynamics which can be utilised by each group simultaneously in a face to face format. Each design activity in the workshop would involve approximately sixty minutes of collaborative design followed by five to ten minutes of collective reflection for each group. It would be proposed to hold two design activities or ‘rounds’ in order to capitalise on the valuable information which is shared during the initial process of collective reflection. The resourcing and fee schedule provides an overview of the steps involved in delivering this.
Outputs incorporated into the analysis and snapshot presentation would be highly visual, succinct and legible directly incorporating participant experiences and outputs. Audio (and video recording, optional) give opportunities for a unique range of formats for dissemination of process and results. The highly visual and tactile method provides the opportunity for both digital and physical exhibitions (optional) as a further means of communication of design team responses and involvement.
