Description

SME support during the first application of rigid foam in a closed circuit in Western Venezuela. The field results showed an excellent cleaning hole capacity at minimum annular velocities, increases of 4 times in the average rate of penetration compared to wellbores drilled conventionally and a considerable extension of the life of the bit compared to a conventional well in the same reservoir.
Provided dairy supervision of the drilling fluid parameters and control procedures on site.
Led oil/gas service companies and PDVSA engineers in the management and characterisation of the fluid.
