A public lecture given at UCLA by Dr Anthony Duckworth on November 20 2019 at Perlof Hall on behalf of CityLab. With an introduction by Dr Dana Cuff the talk introduces the shared urban and topographical DNA of Perth and Los Angeles identified by Reyner Banham in his seminal text on Los Angeles urbanism The Architecture of Four Ecologies. There is a focus on presenting the recently gazetted infill policy of The Freo Alternative and the important role of engagement activities in generating a social licence for urban planning policy.Period | 20 Nov 2019 |
