Description

Dr Kylie J. Stevenson is Research Fellow for the ECU node of the national ARC Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child. She is chief investigator for an ECU/Digital Child industry partner research project with LEGO Asia Pacific, Digital safety and citizenship roundtables: using consultation and creativity to engage stakeholders (children, policy influencers, industry). Her research expertise spans various fields, including children and technology, communications, and creative research. Kylie is the co-editor of the Routledge Companion to Digital Media and Children (2021) and Digitising Early Childhood (Cambridge Scholars, 2019). In this ANZCASalon, Kylie will introduce the Centre for the Digital Child and how it aims to deliver and disseminate evidence-based research for Australian children to be healthy, educated and connected in a digital world, and also briefly discuss LEGO Asia Pacific, Digital safety and citizenship roundtables a centre project.
