lease fill out this form if you would like to apply for support to attend the WAC-10 Congress in Darwin, 2025. You will be notified of the outcome of your application within two weeks. Successful applicants will be able to use our letter of offer to seek additional support from other organisations for their travel. WAC-10 is committed to providing partial travel support for around 400 eligible participants. Support will be in the form of Congress registration and/or accommodation on a twin-shared basis. International participants can apply for $500 AUD towards their airfare. If approved, these funds will be reimbursed at WAC-10. Indigenous/First Nation people, students and people from reduced rate countries* are eligible to apply for travel support. This support is not available to people who can access other forms of support (university, corporate, business), so we can deploy the funds to those who would not be able to attend otherwise. To be eligible to apply for travel support to WAC-10 you need to have been a member of WAC for four years, or take out a four-year membership of WAC. Membership fees for Indigenous/First Nation people, students and people from reduced rate countries* are low. If you are a current member but have not been a member for four years, you can apply now. If you are offered funding it will be subject to you renewing your membership for four years at the end of 2024. If you are not already a member of WAC you can join here.
