Abstract

The study focuses on constraining the stratigraphic, structural and fluid history of the Kunanalling Greenstone Belt. Through an integrated approach, we develop a model for the evolution of a significant gold camp and provide relative and absolute timing on key events in the regions development. By understanding the fundamental controls on mineralisation, at the mine to camp scale, we better enhance our predictive capacity to target new gold occurrences. We also contribute to the understanding of the earth processes that occurred c.3 b.y.a and how they relate to the formation of Archean orogenic gold deposits.
