Future Research

Measuring liver fibrosis and fat using MRI. Finding magnetoreceptors in bees.


Born in Perth, Western Australia. BSc (Hons) in Geology and PhD in Geophysics from The University of Western Australia. After working in the mineral exploration industry between 1996 and 2002, I did a career change translating into the field of Biophysics after completing a Grad. Dip (Physics) in 2003. Since 2004 I have worked in the School of Physics where I am currently a Research Associate Professor. In 2010 I was appointed the Course Co-ordinator of the MSc (Medical Physics) course.
